Winning championships in golf is nothing new for the Dixie Flyers and it never gets old.
Thursday the Dixie boys captured a third straight 4A title and its seventh golf championship in eight years.
The team from St. George just continued its dominating performance from Wednesday, and a built a sizable lead at Glenn Eagle Golf Course.
Leading the way for Dixie was McCoy Willey. The junior fired a final round 5-under par 67, to take home back-to-back medalist honors.
A number of other Dixie players made strong contributions in the team win.
Connor Van Gilder, (third place) Yoshi Suzuki and Haiden Heppler (tied for 8th) all finished in the top-10.
Willey began the day two stokes off the lead, but after collecting birdies at No. 2 and the par-5 third hole, he quickly over came the deficit.
He finished the front nine in 31, and coasted to a seven stroke victory.
Bonneville took second place and was 34 strokes off the pace and East finished in third place, 38 strokes back of Dixie.
