FOOTBALL

Max Librizzi, Essex

Librizzi was 20-for-28 passing for 280 yard and five TDs in the Hornets’ 47-14 win over Burlington on Oct. 9.

Emile Hartman and Adam Pothier, North Country

Hartman ran for 156 yards and Pothier ran for 101 in the Falcons’ 16-13 win over U-32 on Oct. 9.

Jesse Burke, U-32

Burke gained 116 yards and scored two TDs for the Raiders in their 16-13 loss to North Country on Oct. 9.

Ian Shaw and Jamie Wright, Mount Mansfield

Shaw rushed for 156 yards and three TDs - all in the second half - and Wright scored two TDs and rushed for 150 yards on 10 carries in the Cougars’ 47-21 win over Fair Haven on Oct. 9

Jessie Maynard, Fair Haven

Maynard was 15-of-30, passing for 226 yards and three TDs in the Slaters’ 47-21 loss to Mount Mansfield on Oct. 9.

Brandon Boyle, Springfield

Boyle passed for two TDs, ran for two more and added a punt return for a touchdown in the Cosmos’ 57-0 win over Mount Abraham on Oct. 9.

Matt Wainscott and Connor Roberts, BFA-St. Albans

Wainscott rushed for 143 yards and a TD on 20 carries and Roberts had 18 carries for 104 yards and two TDs in the Bobwhites’ 26-0 win over St. Johnsbury on Oct. 9.

Tim Muzzey, Bellows Falls

Muzzey rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in the Terriers’ 38-31 win over previously undefeated Windsor on Oct. 10.

Gavin Callahan, Windsor

Callahan was 13-of-21 for 198 yards and three touchdowns and he ran for another in the Yellow Jackets’ 38-31 loss to Bellows Falls on Oct. 10.

Jake Bielecki, Oxbow

Bielecki ran for a score, caught a pass for another and intercepted three passes in the Olympians’ 17-0 win over Winooski on Oct. 10.

Peter Bautista, Otter Valley

Bautista rushed 27 times for 114 yards and a TD in the Otters’ 15-14 win over Burr and Burton on Oct. 10.

BOYS SOCCER

Tristan Smith, St. Johnsbury

Smith scored three goals in the Hilltoppers’ 3-1 win over Peoples on Oct. 6.

Jack Loud, Mount Mansfield

Loud scored once and had two assists in the Cougars’ 3-2 win over South Burlington on Oct. 6.

Paul Bianchi, Essex

Bianchi had two goals and an assist in the Hornets’ 3-0 win over Burlington on Oct. 6.

Paul Donna, Milton

Donna scored once and had two assists in the Yellowjackets’ 7-2 win over Lamoille on Oct. 6.

Ethan Murphy, Trinity Baptist

Murphy scored twice and added an assist in Trinity’s 4-1 win over Mid Vermont Christian on Oct. 6.

Alan Therrien, Hazen Union

Therrien had three assists in the Wildcats’ 4-0 win over previously undefeated Lake Region on Oct. 8.

Keegan McDonnell, Proctor

McDonnell scored three unassisted goals in the Phantoms’ 5-0 win over Mount St. Joseph’s on Oct. 8.

Logan Foster, Arlington

Foster scored four goals in the Eagles’ 7-0 win over Poultney on Oct. 8.

Mike Clayton, Champlain Valley

Clayton scored three goals in the Redhawks’ 4-2 win over Missisquoi on Sept. 12.

Sadie Marcotte, Cabot

Marcotte scored three goals in the Huskies’ 6-1 win over Whitcomb on Oct. 6.

Coleen Shouldice, Mount St. Joesph’s

Shouldice scored three goals in the Mounties’ 5-1 win over Long Trail on Oct. 6.

Margaret Belnap and Rayleen Sherman, Arlington

Each player scored four times in the Eagles’ 8-2 win over Windsor on Oct. 6.

Ashley Cook and Mikayla McCormack, Proctor

Each player scored two goals and had two assists in the Phantom’s 7-2 win over Poultney on Oct. 6.

Caitlin Paterson, Montpelier

Paterson scored two goals and added an assist in the Solons’ 4-0 win over Lyndon on Oct. 7.

Brittany Pfaff, Rice Memorial

In the same week she committed to play at Siena College, Pfaff scored five goals in the Green Knights’ 8-2 win over Lamoille on Oct. 7. Pfaff also scored four goals in Rice’s 4-0 win over Missisquoi on Oct. 9.

Cat Mullen, Stowe

Mullen scored once and added two assists in the Raiders’ 4-1 win over Thetford on Oct. 9.

Dore Grier, Cabot

Grier scored two goals and added an assist in the Huskies’ 3-1 win over Williamstown on Oct. 9.

Greg LaBella, Woodstock

The Wasps’ coach recorded his 100th win on Oct. 9 as his team defeated Springfield, 2-1.

Emily Osmer, Mill River

Osmer scored three times in the Minutemen’s 7-2 win over Fair Haven on Oct. 9.

Angie Valente, Black River

Valente scored three goals and an assist in the Presidents’ 4-0 win over Mount St. Joesph’s on Oct. 12.

Chelsea Murray, Fair Haven

Murray scored three goals in the Slaters’ 4-1 win over Springfield on Oct. 12.

FIELD HOCKEY

Esther Peterson, U-32

Peterson scored twice and added an assist in the Raiders’ 3-0 win over Stowe on Oct. 7.

Sam Purnell, Stowe

Purnell had three assists in the Raiders’ 3-0 win over Harwood on Oct. 9.

Shayna McDonough, Otter Valley

McDonough scored two goals and added an assist in the Otters’ 6-1 win over Fair Haven on Oct. 9. She also had three goals in a 10-0 win over Bellows Falls on Oct. 12.

Kayla Thibodeau, Hartford

Thibodeau had a goal and two assists in the Hurricanes’ 4-0 win over Brattleboro on Oct. 9.

Greer Gillespie and Gabrielle Sikora, U-32

Gillespie scored three goals and Sikora had three assists in the Raiders’ 6-0 win over Spaulding on Oct. 10.
